Tomato Juice Recipe

Before I tell you more about tomato juice, let me ask – how many of you use it during cooking or making face packs? Most of you, don’t you? This shows how important this small and humble looking red veggie/fruit is.

Packed with Vitamins A, C, B, potassium and a good amount of lycopene (a type of antioxidant), tomato juice is known to help transform even a dull looking skin and restore it to a healthy and pinkish glow. Furthermore, tomato juice also aids in reducing oiliness and open pores, getting rid of tanning and treating skin problems like signs of ageing. Use them in your face packs, as well as juice it up and drink it regularly to enjoy its full health and beauty benefits.

How to Prepare Tomato Juice for Glowing Skin:

Tomato juice can not only be easily made and consumed early morning, but there are several ways in which you can enhance the flavour of this beverage. If you find your simple homemade tomato juice boring and bland (beverage made by blending tomatoes and water only), then you can add a few fruits/veggies of your choice or spice it up a bit by adding a few herbs.

However, the one tomato juice preparation that I would really like to tell you all here, is theĀ  tomato-carrot juice recipe for glowing skin. To make this drink, pick 2 ripe medium-sized tomatoes and 1 tender medium to big carrot. Wash them thoroughly and cut them into small pieces. Run these chopped fruit/veggie in your juicer/blender. To this, add 2 stalks of celery and water and turn the puree into a beverage. You can drink this classic tomato-carrot juice as is, or add a pinch of black pepper powder to jazz it up a bit.
